High-impact, low-resource cleaning

The high-impact jet stream from the rotary jet head is preprogrammed to cover the inside of the tank in a continually denser pattern. This achieves a powerful mechanical impact with a low volume of water, acid or caustic. Most of the Alfa Laval GJA rotary jet heads are capable of operating at both high and low pressures.

Energy-efficient design

A faster tank cleaning cycle also cuts energy consumption. Cleaning fluid flows through the nozzles in an automated, geared rotation around the vertical and horizontal axes. In the first cycle, the nozzles lay out a coarse pattern on the tank surface, with subsequent cycles progressively densifying the pattern over the course of eight cycles.

A welding adaptor with sealing for 1 inch ISO, 1 inch ANSI, 1 1/2 inch ISO dairy pipe, or 1 1/2 inch SWG pipe is available as an accessory.

The sanitary construction of the Toftejorg TJ20G is designed with the aim to meet both European and American standards and regulations, such as EHEDG, United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), United States Food and Drug Administration (USFDA), and 3-A Sanitary Standards.

The TJ20G has been tested according to the EHEDG test procedure on cleanbility and inline steam sterilisability. As standard documentation, it can be supplied with a “Declaration of Conformity” for material specifications.

Note: There is a special distillery version available. See price lists.

TRAX SIMULATION TOOL

TRAX is a unique software that simulates how the Toftejorg TJ 20G performs in a specific tank or vessel. The simulation gives information on wetting intensity, pattern mesh width, and cleaning jet velocity. This information is used to determine the best location of the tank cleaning machine and the correct combination of flow, time, and pressure to implement. A TRAX demo containing different cleaning simulations covering a variety of applications can be used as reference and documentation for tank cleaning applications. A TRAX simulation is free and available upon request.

BladeCleanNEW side angleAlfa Laval BladeClean

The first device for cleaning the underside of tank agitators
Cleaning processing tanks with center obstructions can be tricky, costly, and time-consuming. However, with the new Alfa Laval BladeClean, it doesn’t have to be. This tank cleaning device is perfect for any size tank with agitator blades. Incorporating this device into your tank cleaning process will enable your company to eliminate confined space entry and drastically reduce time spent cleaning, boosting overall tank productivity.

Designed for permanent installation, the retractable Alfa Laval BladeClean is installed into the bottom of the tank and when activated, operates at 2 bar (30 psi) and higher, causing a cone of water jets up to 7.6 m (25’) to spray upward at the underside of the tank agitator blades. Reaching up to 4.5 kg (10 lbs.) of force, the water jets clean the agitator blades of product residue. With a positive seal built in to prevent product migration, pair this device with your favorite Alfa Laval Gamajet or Toftejorg rotary impingement tank cleaning device for a fast and effective clean-in-place process.
