The Unique SSV Y-body, which is based on the time-tested Alfa Laval Unique SSV platform, allows for the sensitive handling of goods with large particles or high viscosity while ensuring continuous flow. Because there aren’t many moving components, it’s simple to disassemble, very reliable and requires little maintenance. Its vast range of alternative features allows it to be tailored to the needs of certain processes.

SSV Y-Body Application

The standard design

You can buy the Unique SSV Y-body in a single body configuration with plugs, actuators, clamp rings and valve bodies that are simple to configure.

A defined compression design improves the valve seals’ durability and service life. A yoke links the actuator to the valve body and a clamp ring keeps everything together during construction.

This valve supports Alfa Laval ThinkTop V50 and V70 sensors and controllers. The Alfa Laval Anytime configurator allows you to simply modify it to practically any process need.

The Working Principle

The Alfa Laval Unique SSV Y-body can be operated remotely using compressed air. The valve can be operated with an Alfa Laval ThinkTop.
