The Unique SSV Aseptic is based on the tried-and-true Alfa Laval Unique SSV platform and has a hermetic diaphragm that seals off the processing area from the outside air, protecting the product from any potential contamination. Additionally, the unique diaphragm is compatible with the tangential, two-step, manual, and tank outlets of the Unique SSV. With few moving parts, you may expect cheap total ownership cost, great reliability, and easy maintenance. It may be tailored to meet the needs of individual processes thanks to its extensive set of extra features. The standard design

The Unique SSV Aseptic is available in one or two body configurations and has user-friendly valve bodies, plugs, actuators, and clamp rings. With two or three functioning ports, the valve can be configured as a shutdown valve for aseptic processing, or with three to five ports, as a changeover valve. The valve seat, which joins the two bodies in the changeover version, is built to ensure flexibility. The valve seals’ preset compression design increases their durability and service life. The actuator is designed with clamp rings, and a yoke links it to the valve body. This valve supports Alfa Laval ThinkTop V50 and V70 sensors and controllers. The Alfa Laval Anytime configurator allows you to simply modify it to practically any process need.

Working Principle

The Alfa Laval Unique SSV Aseptic is powered by compressed air at a faraway location. The actuator protects process lines from pressure peaks, ensuring smooth operation. The valve plug/diaphragm is intended to maintain aseptic conditions. Alfa Laval ThinkTop® valve controllers are offered.
