SIHI Chemical Process Pumps
Chemical process pumps are used in a wide variety of process applications and due to their high reliability they provide reduced operating costs in the Process industry. Specific technical standards including DIN EN ISO 5199 and EN ISO 2858 are fully complied with, providing a modular range of efficient chemical process pumps.

SIHI ISOchem CBS, CBM, CBE
Standard chemical process pumps of the SIHIISOchem range are horizontal, single-stage volute casing pumps with dimensions to DIN EN ISO 2858. They meet the technical requirements of EN ISO 5199. It is a modular configuration of either bare shaft end or close-coupled design. Shaft sealing options are single or double acting mechanical seals, magnetic drives or canned motor designs. The benefits are the interchangeability of the back pull-out assemblies and a reduction of spare parts costs.
Applications:
Pumps of the SIHIISOchem range meet the requirements on custom-built solutions in the process industry, in the following areas: chemical and pharmaceutical, petrochemical, paper, plastics, food processing, plant engineering and construction.

Series CBT
Horizontal, single-stage volute casing pumps with design features and nominal rating to DIN EN ISO 2858. For pumping of liquids with high temperatures (> 200 ºC) special executions with centre line feet are available upon request. The process design permits dismantling of the complete bearing unit towards the drive end, without the pump casing having to be disconnected from the piping. If a spacer coupling is used it is also unnecessary to disconnect the motor.
Applications:
Series CBT volute casing pumps can be used where the requirement is for pumping of clear or slightly dirty or even corrosive liquids. Series CBT pumps are therefore suitable for use in the chemical and petrochemicalindustries, pharmaceutical industries, plastic and rubber industries, ferrous and non-ferrous metal industries, paper and cellulose industries, textile industries, food and drink industries, thermal power stations, municipal water supply and irrigation.

The process design permits dismantling of the complete bearing unit towards the drive end, without the pump casing having to be disconnected from the piping. If a spacer coupling is used it is also unnecessary to disconnect the motor.
Applications:
Series DBS volute casing pumps can be used where the requirement is for pumping dirty liquids or liquids with solids like for sewage plants (storm water, pre-filtered sewage, industrial effluents), chemical plants (chemical effluents, brines and lies, milk of lime, crystal sludge, filter material, plastic suspensions), rolling mills (scale-contaminated water from steel and copper rolling mills), foundries and iron and steel works (effluents and sludge from dust and arrester plants), construction industry (mixtures of water and cement and water from excavation ditches), paper and cellulose paper industry (chemical pulp and mechanical pulp, suspensions up to 6% absolutely dry), sugar mills (carbonation juice, concentrated juice, milk of lime) and food industry (thick mash, fruit and potato slices).
