Becker Combined Vacuum and Pressure Pumps

Becker pioneered the development of combined pressure and vacuum pumps when it developed a device called the secondary suction. It is a secondary inlet port that allows a continuous flow of inlet air and lets the compressor operate independently of the vacuum pump. All Becker combined pumps include these designs:

ABS offers the simplicity of design with only one shaft and direct drive produces robust, long-lasting pressure/vacuum generators compressors with low maintenance and running costs. These pressure/vacuum generators operate completely oil-free; the individual chambers are separated by long-life vanes.

Requiring minimal maintenance, these quiet combined pumps allow the operator to change vacuum flow and pressure flow independently with the ability to adjust either without loss of performance.

… Already featuring integrated intake filter and control valve, these pressure/vacuum generators can be fitted with other accessories without a problem. The blast air cooler, which is also integrated, guarantees a very low blast air temperature. The compact cover ensures low noise and heat emission. The combined pressure/vacuum generators are additionally equipped with a second intake. This provides the capability of making minor adjustments to the suction and pressure side as well as to high blast air volumes. By way of option, the second intake can also be used as a second low-vacuum suction air supply. Optional corrosion protection also makes these vacuum pumps suitable for extracting moist air.

Delivering plenty of blast air and suction, our combined blast/dual vacuum pumps are designed with convenience and minimum maintenance in mind.

Regulating valves, provided as standard equipment, and filters are on the same side of the pump for easy access, while checking or changing vanes is a simple operation requiring only a few minutes of time.

Our oil-less combined blast/dual vacuum pumps are rugged and durable. Other features include:

  • A built-in aftercooler to help minimize static electricity in the discharge air
  • Built-in, large inlet filters, thus ensuring clean inlet air, resulting in longer pump life

Side Channel Pressure/Vacuum Pumps (combined pumps)

Using “multi-stage” compression, side channel pressure/vacuum generators produce low-pulsation suction and blast air. Perfected impeller design with curved blades guarantees optimum efficiency. Separation of the compression chambers on both sides of the impeller provides the capability of operating with a combination of suction and pressure with only one impeller.

Intake filter, vacuum as well as pressure safety valve can be integrated as an optional extra in the patented design of the sound absorbers. The sound absorbers can be varied in length, affording flexible adjustment to available installation space.

Simplicity of design, contactless, with only one shaft and moving part, Pressure/Vacuum Pumps are long lasting with low maintenance and running costs. These Pressure/Vacuum pumps operate without lubrication except for the sealed for life bearings in the electric motor.
External intake and exhaust filters, control valves and additional silencers are also available from stock.
Ideal for applications where pressure and vacuum are required at the same time, but operate independently. For example: restricting vacuum does not affect the blow air flowrate or pressure.
