The pump casing, impeller, impeller nut and backplate are all made of W.1.4404 (AISI 316L) steel, which comes into contact with the media. A stainless steel shroud safeguards the motor and four. Adjustable stainless steel legs support the entire item. The stub shaft is securely attached to the motor shaft using a compression coupling. The semi-open impeller with a particular vane design efficiently and gently propels the product through the pump.

The LKH Evap pump comes standard with a single mechanical shaft seal, however options include a single flushing or double mechanical shaft seal. The front-loading shaft seal with spring and washers located on the atmospheric side allows for quick, convenient, and cost-effective maintenance. It only takes a few minutes to replace the shaft seal. Additionally, the balanced design reduces the possibility of seal opening under unexpected pressure shock.

LKH Evap has the Clear Flow Impeller, ideal for applications where a hard coating of product may form between the impeller and backplate.

  • Available in 13 sizes, handling capacities up to 500 m3/hour and pressures up to 190 H/(m).
  • Options include shaft seals, flushing arrangements, and elastomers.
  • LKH Evap is a dedicated evaporator pump, featuring a scraper impeller ClearFlow for high solids applications.
  • Unique impeller design with a semi-open impeller and a special vane design for low NPSHr and axial forces reduction.
  • External shaft seal with spring and washers mounted on the atmospheric side for fast, easy maintenance and minimal seal opening risk.
  • LKH single shaft seal fits 11 models of LKH pumps and all models of the SolidC pump, reducing inventory and making wear parts replacement quick and easy.
  • Compression coupling secures stub shaft to motor shaft, minimizing noise and vibration and prolonging service life.
