Alfa Laval GJ 7 rotary jet head designed for effective 3D cleaning in small industrial and hygienic process tanksGamajet 7 (GJ7)

The Alfa Laval GJ7 tank cleaning machine is a small, powerful unit that is ideal for cleaning all types of barrels, drums, and small vessels. It eliminates extensive handling by offering one-step, one-insertion cleaning. The Alfa Laval GJ7 delivers fast, effective cleaning that is complete in less than two minutes. It works especially well in tough cleaning situations involving wine, paint, and other difficult materials.

The combination of rugged, long-lasting design, powerful jet spray cleaning, and field serviceability have long made Gamajet the first choice for cleaning among the world’s best known companies. The Alfa Laval GJ7 represents a major technological breakthrough, offering the most powerful cleaning in a compact size. It is capable of running with the pressure and flow of a standard pressure washer.

Smallest rotary impingement tank cleaner: 1.5” (38 mm) clearance
Operates at both high and low pressures
Powerful: 5 lbs (2.5 kg) of cleaning force at 2.5’ (0.75 m)

APPLICATION

The smallest rotary impingement tank cleaning device, the Alfa Laval GJ7 easily fits through a 1 ½ inch access hole. Capable of operating at both high and low pressures, this device delivers five pounds of cleaning force at 2 ½ feet. The Alfa Laval GJ7 offers quick and easy cleaning of barrels, drums, and other small vessels in a wide variety of industries. The device is part of the world-renowned Gamajet range of high impact tank cleaning devices.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The Gamajet range of high impact tank cleaning devices combine pressure and flow to create high impact cleaning jets. Cleaning occurs at the point at which the concentrated stream impacts the surface. This impact, and the tangential force that radiates from that point, blasts contaminants from the surface, scouring the tank interior. In conjunction with this impact, the device is engineered to rotate in a precise, repeatable, and reliable 360° pattern. This full-coverage, global indexing pattern ensures the entire tank interior is cleaned, every time.

STANDARD DESIGN

The choice of nozzle diameters can optimize jet impact length and flow rate at the desired pressure. As standard documentation, the Alfa Laval GJ7 can be supplied with a “Declaration of Conformity” for material specifications.

OPTIONS

Electronic rotation sensor to verify 3-D coverage.

CAUTION

Do not use for gas evacuation or air dispersion.

The Alfa Laval GJ7 rotary jet head generates a high-impact jet stream that uniformly covers the whole internal surface of the drum or barrel in an increasingly dense pattern. This achieves a formidable

Mechanical impact using a minimal amount of water and cleaning chemicals.
The movement of the cleaning fluid causes the nozzles to rotate in a geared manner around both the vertical and horizontal axes. During the initial cycle, the nozzles leave a pattern on the tank’s surface. The pattern’s density is gradually increased in subsequent cycles until it is completely cleaned. After completing the entire cleaning pattern, the machine will restart and conduct the next full cleaning pattern.
