SaniJet 25Alfa Laval Toftejorg Sanijet 25

The Alfa Laval Toftejorg SaniJet 25 rotary jet head provides 360 degree indexed impact cleaning over a defined time period. It is automatic and provides a guaranteed means of achieving quality assurance in tank cleaning. Used in food and dairy, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, the device is suitable for processing, mixing and storage tanks and vessels between 4,000 and 40,000 gallons. The SaniJet 25 is particularly suitable for ultra-hygienic industries that follow European Hygienic Engineering & Design Group Guidelines.

Toftejorg Rotary jet heads provide thorough cost-effective cleaning. To achieve the best possible cleaning results, the jet heads use an optimized high-impact jet pattern to provide the highest possible coverage. Cleaning patterns reach the inner tank surfaces to ensure the most effective clean-in-place (CIP) solution possible. The jet pressure, or force of impact, efficiently removes residue to provide the hygienic conditions required for batch production. Self-draining and self-cleaning, inside and out, all Toftejorg Rotary jet heads devices comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). The Alfa Laval Rotacheck system verifies every cleaning cycle to ensure compliance with today’s strict hygiene standards.

With crevice-free design, Toftejorg Rotary jet heads effectively clean tanks using less water, less energy, and less cleaning agents than static spray balls. This reduces consumption of high-purity water, electricity, and chemicals. Toftejorg Rotary jet heads are an economic and environmentally correct choice.

Maintenanace

Although our tank cleaning machines are designed for durability, periodic maintenance keeps the world’s best tank cleaning machines performing at their peak.
For an extended shelf life of your tank cleaning machine, preventative maintenance every 250 – 500 hours is advised. If you take proper care, your machine(s) will far outlast your tanks.

APPLICATION

The Toftejorg SaniJet 25 rotary jet head provides 3D indexed impact cleaning over a defined time period. It is automatic and represents a guaranteed means of achieving quality assurance in tank cleaning. Used in food and dairy processes, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology industries, the device is suitable for processing, mixing, and storage tanks/vessels between 15 and 150 m3.

The design is particularly suitable for ultra-hygienic industries that follow European Hygienic Engineering and Design Group (EHEDG) guidelines.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

The flow of the cleaning fluid makes the nozzles perform a geared rotation around the vertical and horizontal axes. In the first cycle, the nozzles lay out a coarse pattern on the tank surface. The subsequent cycles gradually make the pattern more dense, until a full pattern is reached after eight cycles.

QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTATION (Q-DOC)

These qualifications are designed for the biopharmaceutical and personal care industries for qualification of hygienic tank cleaning machines and were developed in according to the ISPE V-model and Good Documentation Practice (GDP):

  • Requirement Specification (RS)
  • Design Specification (DS) includes Traceability Matrix
  • Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) includes Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ)
  • 3.1 and USP Class VI Certificates
  • FDA Declaration of Conformity
  • TSE Declaration
  • QC Declaration of Conformity
  • Site Acceptance Test Protocol (SAT) includes Installation Qualification (IQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) for end-user execution
STANDARD DESIGN

The choice of nozzle diameters can optimize jet impact length and flow rate at the desired pressure. To maintain the hygienic state of the machine a welding adaptor matching a specific pipe size comes with the machine together with the necessary gaskets. The Toftejorg SaniJet 25 is designed, tested, and approved according to EHEDG guidelines on design (guideline eight), cleanability (guideline two), and in-line steam sterilisability (guideline five). As standard documentation, it is supplied with a “Declaration of Conformity” for material specifications and surface roughness according to EN 10204 type 2.1 and 2.2.
